Siegfried & Roy Sponsor Las Vegas K-9 Major Fundraiser On September 28
Siegfried & Roy have already pledged their time and support to a unique cause in Las Vegas and they are hoping you will join them. They don't usually approach anyone requesting their help, but this affects everyone in Las Vegas.
"Friends for Las Vegas Police K-9's" is the organization that provides assistance to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Canine Heroes, who put their lives on the line everyday to keep the Las Vegas streets and residents safe. There is very limited funding available to the K-9 officers and their four-legged partners during their active duty and none after their police work is over - the officers absorb the entire cost of their dog's care. Siegfried & Roy feel that the K-9's loyalty and dedication deserve everyone's appreciation and recognition.
The 13th Annual K-9 Trials - their biggest fundraiser of the year - will be held at the Orleans Arena on Sunday, September 28. It is a great event! Siegfried & Roy will be there, and they're sending out an open invitation for everyone to join them. The event is free to the public.
Siegfried & Roy are looking for sponsors for the event, to help publicize it and to make the public aware of the needs of the K-9 Unit. Though we have a full advertising program, we are looking for individual donations as well. "Friends for Las Vegas Police K-9's" is qualified for exempt status from Nevada sales and use taxes.
