Siegfried & Roy continue to weave their Magic in their Community of more than 30 years
Dear Siegfried & Roy,
On behalf of everyone at Opportunity Village, thank you so much for attending the inaugural Opportunity Village Celebrity Poker Tournament. The speech you gave moved us all to tears, and it means so much to us that in spite of adversity you give of your time and talents to help our organization. The courageous, inspirational message you gave was talked about by our guests throughout the event and during the days since, and we're sure that is was your appearance that helped make this our most successful first-time event! Opportunity Village raised more than $125,000 to support the Opportunity Village Southwest Campus Capital Campaign, and we have you to thank.
By lending your legendary status to this fun and festive event, you've helped lay the foundation for the continued success of "Las Vegas' Favorite Charity." The Celebrity Poker Tournament is well on its way to becoming a signature event for Opportunity Village, and we hope you'll both consider joining us again next year.
Of course, all proceeds from the tournament will be used to support the Opportunity Village Southwest Campus Capital Campaign. Due to the tremendous growth in Southern Nevada, the need for programs to serve the intellectually disabled in our community is at an all-time high. To address this need, Opportunity Village has embarked on a comprehensive capital campaign to construct a third campus in Southwest Las Vegas. When completed, the campus will feature a fully-functioning work-training center, an Arts & Enrichment Center, and will offer new and innovative programs geared towards enriching the lives of our clients and their families.
Thank you once again for all that you do to aid our organization. You are truly champions to everyone here, and we look forward to seeing you both at future Opportunity Village events and out in the community.
