Christmas wishes do come true…just ask Siegfried & Roy.
It began four Christmases ago when Prosperity, the first While Lion born in Las Vegas, struggled for her life at birth. A robust and hearty Prosperity celebrates her fourth birthday Christmas Day at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens looking after her four cubs born earlier this year.
Prosperity’s birth fulfilled the wishes of Siegfried & Roy as it created a new bloodline and further insured a secure future for the Magical White Lion.
“From the moment she was born, Prosperity has meant the world to us,” says Roy with a smile and sparkle in his eyes. “She stands for so much. She shows with patience – and prayers — that what most feel is impossible is possible.”
“You have to dream and never let anything stand in the way,” notes Siegfried. “Prosperity’s impact is amazing. It’s as if she has a million parents looking after her, caring about her. We hear all about her as if she was a child, which she is to us.”
The Magicians of the Century also celebrate their return to The Mirage on Friday night following their annual holiday hiatus. “It’s a day of celebration for us,” notes Roy, “as we do miss performing and the interaction of an audience.”
